Karina Berenson, MPH

Director

Karina Berenson is a Director at Analytica International. Berenson has managed multiple projects including database analyses, health economic modeling, software development, product dossiers and medical writing. She has extensive experience building and programming health economic models and conducting statistical analyses such as multivariate modeling and survival analyses. She has also managed the development of AMCP format dossiers and global value dossiers. She has designed and programmed chart review abstraction tools and is also a proficient programmer in the following languages: Visual Basic and VBA, HTML, CSS, SAS and SPSS.

She has worked on both data analysis and health economic modeling projects in a wide range of disease areas, including breast and prostate cancer, diabetes, acute coronary syndrome, sleep disorders, glaucoma, anemia, deep vein thrombosis, gastrointestinal disorders, hypertension, and depression.

Berenson received a Masters of Public Health degree in epidemiology from Columbia University. She has been working in the healthcare field since receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Pacific Lutheran University. Her past research experience includes studying the genetic epidemiology of epilepsy, evaluating the role of NMDA-receptors in Alzheimer’s disease, conducting survey research on risk behaviors in adolescents and assessing patient quality of life in patients undergoing coronary surgery.
